Flowering season of Tram Chim usually starts in March and lasts until May. This unique flower has appeared for a long time, coexisting with the metal energy (food of the red-crowned crane). However, it wasn’t until 2015 that the first royal flower bloomed into a large flower bed in the fields. Since then, Tram Chim National Park has begun to exploit tourism and welcome tourists from all over the world to come and see this beautiful flower.

The season of royal head flowers of Tram Chim is at its most beautiful and brilliant time. So if you come to Dong Thap this season, remember to come to Tram Chim to enjoy the beauty of the flower with a special name. Currently, Hoang Dau An only lives and develops in Tram Chim National Park, so this is almost the only coordinate for visitors to see flowers.

Perhaps many visitors will wonder about this strange and interesting name of the royal head. According to local residents, this name comes from the small shape of the flower, when it blooms it looks like a small seal, and has a beautiful bright yellow color. In addition to this orthodox name, the flower is also known as the drumstick or the kitchen wand.

Tram Chim flower season usually blooms from March to May every year. Although it is a wildflower, growing in alum and swampy conditions, the kitchen wand is also very “cool”. Flowers usually bloom about 4-5 hours/day, mainly at noon from 10:30 to 14:30. Therefore, if you want to see the flowers, you have to suffer from the sun a little to see them with your own eyes.

This year, flowers bloom in both zones A4 and A5 in the national park with a total area of up to 22ha. In which, area A4 with a flowerbed of over 20 hectares is put into operation and serves tourism. Coming here, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a golden picture, delight in checking in virtual life.

Traveling to Dong Thap this season, every visitor wants to come to Tram Chim to have the opportunity to see the beautiful and brilliant royal flowers in the middle of the field. The National Park Management Board also organizes tours to serve visitors to experience flower viewing, take photos and enjoy the beauty of this place.

After buying a tour ticket, you will be guided to move by motorbike to the anchorage of the dinghy (small boat used in the West). There will be a canoe driver to take visitors to area A4. After that, you continue to walk about 100 meters to reach the blooming yellow flower carpet.

Currently, the price of a tour to visit the first flower season of Tram Chim is from 250,000 to 300,000 VND. The tour program is open for service from March and is expected to end at the end of May. When buying a package tour, visitors also visit a house displaying bird eggs and freshwater fish in the National Park.
