QUANG BINH – In Nuoc Nut cave, Va cave is sandy beaches, stalactites with many shapes, a giant stalagmite wall, and an emerald green underground river.

Found in 2003 in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park area, Nuoc Nut Cave has become one of the most attractive destinations for nature expeditions, suitable for all subjects, especially for families with children over the age of 12 or those who want to enjoy moments of exploration with ease.

Nuoc Nut is one of the Quang Binh caves with charming beauty. Initially, the discovery of the Nuoc Nut cave was only part of the 2-day Hang Va expedition tour exploited by Oxalis. Realizing the tourism potential of this beautiful cave, Oxalis has continued to survey and officially launched the 1-day Nuoc Nut cave Experience journey, starting in 2018 with unique activities, anyone. can join, especially families traveling with children 12 years and over.

In early March 2021, photographer Pham Huy Trung (Ho Chi Minh City) took a two-day adventure tour to explore Cave Va – Nuoc Nut in the cave complex of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

After traveling by car from the center of Son Trach commune to Km28 on Ho Chi Minh West road, the group continued to walk through the forest, through many beautiful scenes of Phong Nha – Ke Bang forest. At the first discovery point in the journey, Nuoc Nut cave, Trung was impressed with the stalagmites “precipitated” from the ceiling and stalactites “growing” from the floor in the cave.

Inside Nuoc Nut cave, there are sandy beaches and stalactites of different shapes. The cave was first discovered in 2003, and the cave entrance was discovered in 2012.

Large cave arch and giant stalagmite wall in Nuoc Nut cave. Cave experts said that based on geological survey results, Nuoc Nut is up to 2.2 km long and is about 2 million years old. The cave is being exploited for tourism from February to the end of August every year.

After exploring Nuoc Nut cave, Trung’s group camped for one night above the cave entrance and continued trekking in Va cave the next day. In the photo are stalactites of many shapes in Va cave. The two caves have special tectonic thanks to the geysers connecting with Son Doong cave.

In 2012, Mr. Ho Khanh brought a group of British cave experts to the entrance of the cave. Total length of Va cave surveyed and recognized is 1.6 km.

The underground river has a fanciful blue water color in Va cave. In the system of more than 300 caves discovered in Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Va cave is one of the most valuable caves.

The blurry scene inside the cave Va. Mr. Trung shared: “There is no light in the cave, so when shooting, it is necessary to have a large capacity light system to make the picture better”.

During the discovery of Va Cave, the team used a dedicated padlock belt and pulley belt to move through stalactite walls over ten meters high. The journey requires visitors to be in good health and some basic climbing skills.

The author of the photo set said that all tired feelings vanished when the Thap Non stalactite lake appeared in the Va cave. Hundreds of these stalactites sprout up like bamboo shoots, of fairly uniform size, about 2 m high.

Experts say that stalactites here are rare and unique, almost nonexistent anywhere in the world, so Thap Con stalactite lake is also named “water stalactite cave”.

Scientists have not really discovered the formation of the conical tower stalactites. They are “living” in the water, growing from the lake up, not formed by small water currents down from above like in other caves.

At the end of the journey, Mr. Trung likened the scenery in Va and Nuoc Nut to heaven. The itinerary is suitable for sports lovers, nature and photography enthusiasts. Follow vnexpress
