This is an ancient building with superficial “pre-day, post-bell” structure, with unique beauty, preserving many precious treasures. 

The National History Museum also preserves many treasures originating from Linh Tien Pagoda. The pagoda worships the three ethnic groups, including Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism – three religions with an important position, strongly dominated Vietnam’s ideology, culture and education during the feudal period.

The total number of antiques and restoration items is more than 500 artifacts. These artifacts have not only material value but also spiritual significance, as an invaluable treasure of Vietnam.

The temple was built entirely from iron wood so it is durable, sure over time. These boards are stitched together and left to be coarse, the longer the age, the darker the wood color. In particular, the temple has never shown signs of termite.

In the Tran Minh Tong dynasty, the daughter of King Tran, the princess Thai Truong, came to the pagoda to pray for self-examination, so King Tran had a great restoration. Later, people built a statue of the king worshiping in the front road.

The pagoda is located on high land in the village. The outermost is the three concerned. Next is a small paved road leading to the three mandarins, across the yard to the center of the temple.

The statue of the wind god in hundreds of artifacts has both historical and material value. People in the region together with the relic area management board, the relic management subcommittee regularly appoint people to clean and bathe statues on holidays and Tet.

The wooden carved planks at Linh Tien pagoda have several dozen. Mostly engraved Buddhist and Taoist sutras and mantras. These planks have been preserved and studied by the State at two places: the National Museum of History and the Hanoi Museum. At the temple only keep 1 copy.

Mr. Phi Huu Long, Head of Subcommittee for Management of Monuments of Cao Xa Village cum Head of Cao Xa Village Information: In 1990, Linh Tien pagoda was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a national historic site. The pagoda is not only a place of worship but also a cultural and spiritual tourist site. At the beginning of the year, visitors from all over the world come to the pagoda to worship and make pilgrimages.
