When the French arrived in Thua Thien – Hue , when they wrote the place name on the map, they recorded Vietnamese as “Lang Co” but did not leave the mark, so that it was “Lang Co”, and read it with a European accent. “Lang Co”. Since then, the name Lang Co with heavy accent of Thua Thien – Hue has become the main name.
