A brick kiln is usually about 12 meters high and takes about 5 days to load and unload bricks, 15 days for baking and 10 days to build the kiln door and wait for the bricks to cool.
The people of Vinh Long often use rice husks to burn the kiln and have to watch the fire regularly to ensure the bricks are cooked on time.
Over a month, each batch of bricks usually collects more than 120,000 bricks and depends on the size of the kiln.
