Young people gathered in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral area early to have fun and check-in with the interior space decorated with sparkling lights.

Friend Dieu Thuy (District 7) shared that, in the spirit of Christmas Eve, Thuy also went down to the streets to have fun and watch the city’s brilliant lights.

“Notre Dame Cathedral is my favorite place because the space here is beautifully decorated and has an ancient look. But unfortunately the church is closed, tonight I can’t go inside to attend the ceremony. I have to stand.” outside to pray,” Thuy said.

Near midnight, many young people and tourists still lined up in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in the hope of being able to get inside to hold the ceremony.

The church representative announced to the people the reason for not opening. It is known that mass is being held inside and is full, the church cannot open to welcome visitors.
