The 19th year flower street with the theme of Spring of the homeland, warm love marks the unforgettable period of Ho Chi Minh City, which is gradually reviving, after spending many months as the epicenter of the epidemic in the whole country.

Right at the entrance to the flower street at the corner of Nguyen Hue – Ton Duc Thang street is the scene About the deep forest – Green nature. Prominent is the model of “Lord of the Forest” made of gravel, 3.5 m high, 8 m long and weighing nearly 2 tons with characteristic striped pattern, majestic figure.
This is also the first time that gravel is chosen as the material to represent the mascot for the flower road, in line with the “feng shui” characteristic of the tiger. The pebbles are carefully selected in terms of size, shape, and color surrounding the steel and porous structure.
Unlike previous times, the theme mascot no longer has a family image at the entrance but is placed in the middle of the road to emphasize the behavior of tigers, animals that often live and operate independently. This model is 4.6 m high, more than 10 m long with a combination of tempered glass, mica and grass moss, creating a tiger-like effect.
A stylized tiger model with a chubby, friendly appearance made of foam, rattan… with the words carrying the anti-epidemic message.
The beauty of the village is reproduced with miniature bamboo bridges, rivers winding between blooming flower beds.
The small landscape of rice fields winding like a silk strip and clearly stratified with a height of up to 2 m. According to the organizers, on an area of more than 600 m2, visitors will walk between a high-rise rice field reminiscent of mountainous terraced fields and a low-floor rice field of the lowland on the other.
This year’s flower street uses many reusable materials such as metal, foam, rattan, bamboo, bricks, nets, woven wire, etc., and about 80 kinds of flowers, nearly 97,000 pots and flower baskets of all kinds.
Right at the center is a space in Ho Chi Minh City to express gratitude to the country’s compatriots who have stood by the most difficult period. The led screen will show the images of doctors, nurses, soldiers, people … working together in the city to overcome the pandemic.

“This is my seventh year participating in the construction of Nguyen Hue flower street. Every year this place has its own beauty and is a tourist attraction of the city’s people during Tet,” said Mr. Minh Quan, while watering flower pots. .
This year, depending on the epidemic situation, the operating, closing, and stopping time of the flower street changes according to the direction of the City People’s Committee without prior notice. During the tour, visitors must wear a mask even when taking pictures.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street will be open to serve the needs of spring travel and enjoyment of the city’s residents and visitors from 19:00 on January 29 to 17:00 on February 4 (ie from December 27 to the 4th of the Lunar New Year).
