Phu An Bamboo Village – Green ecosystem is extremely attractive
Phu An bamboo village was started construction in 2004 in Phu An commune, Ben Cat district, Binh Duong and in 2008 started to be put into service of tourism. This is the first conservation area of green bamboo ecosystems in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

The project to build a bamboo ecological conservation area started in 1999 based on the scientific research work of lecturers at University of Natural Sciences of Ho Chi Minh City – PhD. Diep Thi My Hanh with the help of the units: People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province, University of Natural Sciences, Pilat Nature Garden, Rhone Alpes region. The Phu An bamboo village complex includes the botanical museum and the bamboo ecology museum – where more than 300 samples of bamboo are preserved and developed, of which more than 90% are Vietnamese varieties.
Bamboo village is designed in an open space with two independent areas: the bamboo museum and the study area. The reason for forming the bamboo museum is because before the impacts of natural disasters and people, the varieties representing the national character and morale are at risk of “death”. Coming to this green tourist area, you will discover the rich diversity of green bamboo ecosystems with more than 200 samples of living bamboo collected from many different regions of the land of Vietnam, learn the method. Tre Phu An Village is located at 124, 744 Street, Phu An Commune, Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province.
