“Children think of a place and ask if you’ve been here, what’s interesting there?”, the young teacher, who has set foot in 28 provinces, said.

Le Ngoc Han (1998), working as a primary school teacher and travel blogger living in Bac Giang, started her travels when she was a second-year student. The first destination in the future teacher’s “backpacking” journey was Sa Pa and soon after was Ha Giang. Han shared that the feeling of traveling on roads with clouds and mountains made her “addicted”, thereby igniting the fire of movement in her strongly.

Since sitting in school, Ngoc Han has learned and admired writer Nguyen Tuan. His travel and extravagance had formed in her the desire to travel far and wide to admire the magnificence of the country. After 3 years, Han has set foot in 28 provinces. In which, the longest trip is 15 days to explore Sa Pa and Y Ty in the ripe rice season, the shortest is through 4 provinces of Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Hai Duong in just 1 day.

For Han, a new teacher needs to study and improve professional knowledge a lot. In addition to her main job, being a travel blogger supports the girl in teaching. “There are things that I don’t only know through textbooks, lesson plans or videos taken online. The things I have experienced and seen with my own eyes can expand and provide more information for students. children, making the lesson more lively and helping them to be curious and love their country”, Han shared about the benefits of being a travel blogger.

The trips have left the young teacher many memorable memories, sometimes quite “risky”. Han recalls the time when he went to the land of “yellow flowers on green grass” to Phu Yen, he met a storm, had to wear 5 shirts, once because he missed Ha Giang so much, he took the car alone, then had to get off the bus in the middle of the motorbike taxi to continue. more than 200 km to Dong Van. But the most memorable time for Han was at Co To.

When all the tourists returned home because of the storm situation on the island, Han and her friend were still determined to depart because they were “too crazy”. “Traveling in a deserted place, alone in the sea. People wear swimsuits and we wear raincoats to watch the sea when each family is taking sandbags to the roof to prevent the strong wind. The locals can all see it. However, it is these moments that bring people closer and get to know people better.

Experience 5 days and 4 nights but due to the rain and storm, there is nothing to do, hear people tell stories on the island, legends, and oral stories. It’s also funny to think about it, just because you’re crazy about your legs, you’re so defiant”, Han smiled as he recalled the times he was stubborn to travel.

Young teachers often spend the whole weekend on trips to relieve pressure after a stressful working week. But since becoming a teacher, the time for moving is also affected. Han said, she went to Da Lat for 2 days and 1 night and learned from her experience to go more days for the next trip because she had too little time to experience everything but visited the place. For longer trips, Han saves for summer vacation or holidays, Tet. “Actually, taking the time to satisfy your passion is not difficult, it’s just that you really want and that passion really motivates you or not,” said Han. A girl’s trip usually doesn’t cost too much. Locations like Moc Chau, Ta Xua, Ba Vi… usually cost less than 1 million VND. Further locations such as Sa Pa and Ha Giang cost over 1 million VND. Further trips by plane are higher.

After the trip, Han returned to be a teacher imparting knowledge to students. Going everywhere, but the girl always remembers her students or buys snacks for them.

In addition to posting photos on her personal Facebook, Han also has a travel blog and TikTok takes the title “Teacher going to Phiot”. Han shared, students often surf TikTok and use their parents’ Facebook to search for the teacher’s name. During break time, the children often gather to ask and be curious about their aunt a lot. “Children think of a place and ask if she’s been here, is there anything interesting there? Have you tried this game? Some of you have expressed your desire to go as much as you in the future. The children or “drop your heart” for her TikTok, or yell at each other “Miss Han is TikTok idol!” which I find both cute and funny”, Han laughs when remembering her little students.

Han shared, their parents were not harsh and even encouraged her, “You’re still young, let’s go a lot”. According to her, society always has many conflicting opinions, some people support it, some people have jokes, but as Han shared, “I know what I’m doing and I’m not wrong. Live life to the fullest. passion but not affect the work is okay”. In the future, the young girl’s plan is to explore all 63 provinces before getting married. Follow vnexpress
