With the theme “Wake up Hoi An”, a street art program with the participation of professional actors and mass art groups has awakened the old town space from 17:30 pm 28-12.

According to the People’s Committee of Hoi An City, with the desire to stimulate tourism demand, warm up the operating atmosphere in the old town center and create attractive activities for tourists, the Center of Culture, Sports and broadcasting, Hoi An image collaborated with the business community to launch a show on an old town space with the theme “Wake up Hoi An”. The program opens from December 28th and is expected to be maintained periodically on weekends.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Cam – Director of Hoi An Center for Culture, Sports and Broadcasting – said that the Gami Hoi An Joint Stock Company mobilized a cast of powerful tourist boats and boats through the performances. art section at the foot of Cau Pagoda. These performances are excerpts from the nightly performing arts program at Hoi An Memory Park.

At exactly 17h30, the art team departed from Song Hoai Square and connected in a long walk through the routes including Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Tran Phu, Hoang Van Thu, Bach Dang and ended the journey at An Hoi Bridge. 

Here, a series of lanterns will be turned on to do the ritual of lighting the old town. It is very emotional that in the performing arts troupe through the old town, many people, foreigners living in Hoi An are also wearing ao dai, turban, holding lanterns to prolong the flow of people.
