The ancient capital of Hue is beautiful and “contemplative” on social distancing days

The monuments in Hue that are normally bustling with visitors, are now quiet because they stopped welcoming visitors to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic. Beautiful temples and mausoleums are “contemplative” in the days of the ancient capital of social distancing.

In Hue city, when the Covid-19 pandemic has not yet broken out, many tourism activities and festivals at the relic sites are regularly held, the atmosphere is very bustling.

However, the complicated and dangerous epidemic situation created a big “barrier” for the tourism industry of the ancient capital of Hue to attract domestic and foreign tourists as before.

As noted, the relic sites in Thua Thien Hue province during the last 3 months have been closed and no tourists have come to visit. Shops and restaurants at the relics have to temporarily stop trading, not knowing when they will be able to operate again.

Without the bustling tourist footsteps, temples and mausoleums in the days of social distancing still have a “contemplative” beauty.

The images below have just been recorded at famous destinations on the tourist map of the ancient capital of Hue.
