TPO – A road about 800m long, connecting two islands in the Diep Son island range (Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province) is known as a “unique” sea road in Vietnam.

Diep Son (also known as Hon Bip) is a series of 3 small islands, lying in the waters of Van Phong Bay, Van Ninh district. It is famous for its beautiful winding sea trail submerged in turquoise water.

The road is about 800m long, connecting the two islands in the Diep Son island range named Hon Duoc (known as Hon O) and Hon Quan. The beauty of this road is compared to the road connecting the two famous Korean islands of Jindo and Modo.

When the tide falls, the road is winding, about 1m wide and less than 0.5m deep below the surface of the clear blue sea. From a distance, a layer of fine white sand appears in the middle of the sea like a beautiful bridge connecting to the beautiful Diep Son Island.

Walking on this road brings a feeling of great pleasure, mixed nervousness and a little fear when you have to step in the middle of the vast ocean. The clear blue water can see the bottom of the white sand, giving you the opportunity to enjoy watching the swarm of fish swimming. When the tide goes down, the road begins to come out

According to local people, for a long time, tourists often mistakenly believe that Diep Son is just an island – Bip island. In fact, it is a cluster of many independent islands, not only Hon Bip but also Hon O, Hon Que.

Most tourists going to Diep Son according to the tour go to Hon Bip, after that they are taken by boat to “Diep Son” to go on this road. In the past, there used to be a road on the sea (lost) and today there is only one road connecting the island at Hon O and Hon Quan.
