From Hue to Da Nang, instead of traveling by car or motorbike, Kim Ngan chose to take the train and had many interesting experiences.

This special journey was carried out by Chau Ngoc Kim Ngan, a young girl born in 1996 living in Ho Chi Minh City, in early April when the Covid-19 epidemic had not yet broken out. Because the road from Hue to Da Nang is not too far, Ngan chooses a means of transportation that is a train, both being able to enjoy the scenery on the road and have space to take beautiful pictures as a souvenir.

Before that, Ngan had the opportunity to take the train from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan, but was not impressed and did not “take pictures” much. “Because I had no experience at that time, I chose the type of seat, I did not have my own space, so I was not free. I got on the train to sleep all the way to the place, and I did not discover many beautiful photo angles. Until the trip. Hue – Da Nang, I chose the air-conditioned compartment and had a completely different experience,” Ngan said.

Da Nang city is nearly 100 km from Hue, taking nearly three hours by train. Kim Ngan chose the SE5 train, belonging to the North-South passenger train route from Hanoi to Saigon. At that time, the ticket price was 118,000 VND / person, passengers could order on the website or buy directly at the station, through the ticketing switchboard. Ticket prices may change from time to time.

The train consists of 12 cars, with seat classes including hard seats, soft seats and beds depending on the needs and budgets of guests. Ngan chose a bed-style chair located in car 6, compartment 4, right by the window. Her sleeping compartment has a total of 4 beds arranged in 2 rows, each row has 2 floors and has cool air conditioning. At each location, there is a reading light with built-in USB phone charger, pillows, a small table, decorative flowers and a trash can. Each such compartment has large doors to ensure privacy. In addition, the train is also considered by Ngan to be quite comfortable with a canteen and toilets for passengers.

She left at the station at 7am. From the seat, through the doorway, Kim Ngan can enjoy the panoramic view of majestic nature. “The mountains are rolling, the sea is vast, there are parts of the train going through the tunnels, there are parts of the ship winding along the mountains, one side is a cliff, one side is a deep abyss,” Ngan recalled the scene at that time. . For her, the most beautiful route is the passage through Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach, with the top of the mountain mixed in the clouds, and the foot of the mountain submerged in the immense sea. When the train went close to the sea, Ngan seemed to see the sign right under her feet.

In addition to seeing the beautiful scenery from the seats, passengers can travel on the carriages to admire the scenery and take pictures through the train’s windows. “Three hours on the train passed like the blink of an eye because I was so engrossed in watching and taking pictures that I forgot about time,” the girl born in 1996 shared. Kim Ngan also did not forget to bring a good book to “companion” with her on her journey to Da Nang.

Traveling by train has brought the young girl many interesting experiences, completely changing her initial view of this type of vehicle. “If I haven’t gone yet, I think sitting on the train is boring, noisy, takes time, and is not hygienic, but when I step into the car, I am impressed by the comfortable, clean, comfortable space and especially being able to enjoy the view. The threshold of scenery varies from region to region,” Ngan said.

This way of travel also has some limitations such as the travel time of the train is sometimes longer than that of passenger cars and motorbikes, delays (trains arrive at the station to pick up later than the announced time) may occur. out at any time… Nevertheless, this is still an experience worth trying and promises to bring many new and unexpected surprises.

Currently, because of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, the travel plans that Kim Ngan cherished have to be put aside. Sometimes, remembering the happy days, she often “digs up” photos from old outings to share with everyone. Redoing a train trip to Phan Thiet is Ngan’s wish when the epidemic is under control.Follow vnexpress
