Located at 117 Phan Boi Chau Street, Thong Nhat Ward, Khai Doan Dak Lak is the largest ancient temple in Buon Ma Thuot city and the whole of Dak Lak province. The architecture of the Khai Doan Dak Lak pagoda is designed in the style of Hue house architecture in harmony with the Tay Nguyen stilt house style, mixed with modern architecture. The pagoda has the main golden brown tones, creating antiquity, the background that is extremely impressive.
From a distance, visitors can admire the entire ancient temple with its curved, soft, and harmonious roof in harmony with the surrounding nature creating a beautiful and attractive scene. In particular, the main power section is built with solid ironwood columns. The main hall stands out with a majestic statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and a large bronze bell placed in the right compartment. According to the monks at the pagoda, this Buddha statue is made of bronze, 1.1m high, the lotus is made of precious wood, meticulously carved and meticulous. And the bronze bell is up to 1.15m high, cast by artisans in Hue capital in 1954. In addition, the pagoda also has the temple Quan Am Bo Tat built next to it with hexagons.
