Thong Nhat Park is known as the “green lung” of Hanoi because of its large area and the number of green trees. This place is also considered an ancient and long-standing park in the capital when it was established in 1958. Located in Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi, Thong Nhat park covers the spacious Bay Mau lake and is adjacent to with all 4 major streets: Tran Nhan Tong, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Le Duan and Dai Co Viet. Although it is not as new or modern as new parks, but for Ha Thanh people, this is a familiar place to go for a walk and relax.
Currently, Thong Nhat Park has been moved from “closed” to “open” park when the fences surrounding the park have all been removed. Besides, the park is no longer charged as before, so this place has become one of the free virtual coordinates that are still as beautiful and poetic as other places.

Most of the routes are major roads, so you can refer to google maps for directions if you are traveling by motorbike or car. The ticket price for motorbike parking is 5,000 VND/day, and for a car is 30,000 VND. There are also many bus routes that stop right near the gate which is very convenient.($1=24,000 VND)
