The temperature recorded in this area is -1 degree C. Ice occurs early in the morning on the high points in O Quy Ho, then gradually spread to lower areas.
By noon, most of the area from Thac Bac tourist area to the top of O Quy Ho pass (about 3km) is frozen.
Ice appeared on weekends, tourists flocked to O Quy Ho Pass to take photos. Highway 4D is congested for the whole length. Many visitors walk for kilometers in the cold rain to take pictures with the frost.
