What season is Vinh Phuc beautiful?

Vinh Phuc is located in a tropical monsoon climate, hot and humid. The average annual temperature is 23 – 25 degrees Celsius. You should visit in summer or autumn to enjoy the cool, pleasant atmosphere. Wild sunflower season is around the end of November and the beginning of December every year.

Move

Vinh Phuc is just over 60 km from Hanoi, visitors can travel by car, bus, coach, taxi, or motorbike. Choose a bus, you depart from My Dinh bus station, the fare is about 60,000 – 80,000 VND. Travel time is about 1.5 hours, but it can be longer if the bus stops to pick up and drop off passengers along the way.

Motorcycles or cars are convenient means of transport. From the center of Hanoi, you follow the Thang Long – Noi Bai highway (nearly 20 km), meet National Highway 2, and go to the West – Northwest about 26 km to Vinh Phuc.

Pay attention to the correct speed, and observe the signs. Be especially careful when visiting Tam Dao and Tay Thien Monastery because the road has many sharp and steep turns.

Truc Lam Tay Thien

About 25 km from Tam Dao, Truc Lam Tay Thien Monastery possesses a charming mountain landscape, located on a high mountain slope between pine forests and thousands of clouds. Not only is the temple with the most magnificent architecture in northern Vietnam, it is also one of the three largest monasteries in the country. The magnificent unspoiled natural landscape, along with the sacred atmosphere of the monastery, makes the Zen Monastery a peaceful and estranged beauty.

Tich Son Pagoda

Tich Son is an ancient temple, a spiritual tourist destination for Vinh Phuc people and many tourists from all over the world. Regarding the construction time of the Tich Son pagoda, there are no documents specifying, however, through the architecture, many researchers believe that the pagoda was built at the end of the Later Le and the beginning of the Nguyen Dynasty and underwent many restorations. .

Dai Lai Lake

Dai Lai Lake is located in Ngoc Thanh commune, Phuc Yen town, more than 40 km from Hanoi, located at the foot of Tam Dao mountain. As an artificial lake, Dai Lai is like a precious gem created by man. In the midst of rolling hills and forests is a vast blue lake, reflecting the clouds and mountains all year round. Here visitors can walk, enjoy the scenery, go on a cruise, swim in the lake, fish, climb the mountain… or enjoy the unique ethnic dishes.

Ho Xa Huong

Follow the road to Tam Dao about 12km more and you have approached the edge of the lake. Xa Huong Lake is hidden in the valley at the foot of Con Trau mountain, in Xa Huong village, Minh Quang commune, Tam Dao district. Although it is an artificial lake, it has a wild character, with many large niches through the forests. The lake was built by the construction and irrigation industry in 1984 with a capacity of more than 12 million liters of water, more than 80 hectares wide.

Ban Long Lake

Huong Canh Pottery Village

Huong Canh Pottery Village in Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc is located right on the National Highway No. 2. This place is not only famous for its pottery making but also a very beautiful ancient village. In the village, there are 3 large communal houses built of fired bricks and ironwood about 500 years old (worshiping 3 children of Ngo Quyen), Ca pagoda, and the sacred Lo Ngoi pagoda.

Renting a motorbike and filling up gas in Tam Dao is quite expensive, so ask for the price first.
