The route goes through many villages of upland people of Nam Giang, Nong Son, Hiep Duc and Nam Tra My districts. This is also the historic route. The opening of Truong Son Dong Street brought a new life to the majority of ethnic minorities in disadvantaged areas and former revolutionary bases.

This March is the most beautiful season when exploring the East Truong Son street because of the light sun, golden yellow, cool climate. This is also the season when bees go to collect honey on the majestic Truong Son mountain range. The day we went to experience, we also saw many groups of young people traveling, exploring this road.
Truong Son Dong road passes famous places in Quang Nam such as Khe Dien, Cam La, Na Lau, Dong Lang, Song Tra … In which Cam La, Na Lau are elephant conservation areas; Currently, there are 15 elephants here.
Truong Son Dong route has a length of about 700km passing through 7 provinces, the starting point is Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Phu Yen, Dak Lak, and the endpoint is Lam Dong province.
This route will create a new traffic axis in the Central region – Central Highlands. This new traffic artery will be a powerful driving force creating opportunities for regional development. The route is not only of political and national defense but also important in the socio-economic development of the Central and Central Highlands provinces.
