This ” unique Western ” house is located in the ecotourism of Mr. Tran Van Lien (65 years old, in Nhon Loc 1 hamlet, H.Phong Dien, Can Tho city ) with the name of Vam Xang fruit garden. This garden is shady fruit trees with more than 40 varieties planted on an area of more than 3 hectares.

Mr. Nam Lien shared that he was a farmer. Since childhood, he had a passion and cherished building a house according to traditional architecture. After a long time of gardening, having a full life, he decided to build a house “for life”, a harmonious combination between the old architecture of the 3 North – Central – South.

“Thanks to the opportunity to travel to many parts of the country, observing the architecture of each region, I designed a unique house for myself. After finishing the idea, I invited 2 groups of craftsmen with dozens of people from Nghe An to construct. Wood used to build houses is car plug and chitwood with a total volume of 140 m 3 bought from Tien Giang ”, Mr. Nam Lien said.

House built during 12 months and completed in January 2021 with a total cost of nearly 10 billion. Although the 3-region architecture is combined, the main theme is still the traditional architecture of the Southern house.

In particular, in front of the main door of this “unique Western” house, Mr. Nam Lien gave the engraver “9 letters of the island”, indicating the hard work of his parents.
