LAM DONG – 5 authors share a passion for organizing the photo exhibition “Dalat Rendezvous” at Ly Tu Trong Street, Ward 2, from March 25.

Outdoor photo exhibition “Dalat Rendezvous” was held on March 25 – May 9, organized and curated by photographers Phan Quang and Ly Hoang Long. This photo exhibition has 47 photos of 5 authors Ngo Trung Dung, Tran Bao Hoa, Nguyen Van Thuong, Pham Huy Trung and Dong Lam Thanh Tung.

Author Ngo Trung Dung (Hanoi) brings to the exhibition with the photo series “Long Bien Bridge”. Mr. Dung is a financial accountant who loves composing photos of Long Bien Bridge, the image associated with the capital.

The pace of life is slow in the rainy night that stops at Long Bien Bridge. “Long Bien Iron Bridge was completed in 1902, now over 100 years old. The bridge is still not a relic but still lives, immersing in the rhythm of Hanoi. I see each day and every different time of the day, pray have a different beauty and record it through my lens ”, Mr. Dung said.

Meanwhile, author Tran Bao Hoa (Binh Dinh) brought to the exhibition “Net Hon Yen” in the anchovy fishing season. Hon Yen is located in Nhon Hoi village, An Hoa commune, Tuy An district, about 20 km northeast of Tuy Hoa city.

Mr. Hoa shared that after graduating from university majoring in advertising graphics, he happened to be familiar with photography and discovered his passion. From then on, photography gradually became a joy and now it is a work that attaches to him every day.

“Net flower” on Hon Yen sea is like a colorful art picture.

“Born in the Central Highlands, but I am living and settling in Quy Nhon beach town. I have a special love for this strip of Central Vietnam, where charming scenery and generous people. That’s why I always want to capture its beauty through new angles. I spend most of my time composing on the daily life of coastal fishermen ”, Mr. Hoa shared.

The photo of fishermen who are always optimistic and love life when catching a big batch of fish by Mr. Tran Bao Hoa during a fishing experience.

The exhibition also introduces visitors to the photo set “The beauty of ice and snow Y Ty” by Nguyen Van Thuong (Lam Dong), including the frozen glove photo in early January 2021.

“I have been in photography for a long time, but this is the first time I have the luck to touch the ice and snow when it comes on the right occasion of the frost, snow falls on the highlands of O Quy Ho and Y Ty, Sa Pa earlier this year. My family and I love to mingle between the cold border and passionately capture beautiful moments through the lens of photography, ”said Mr. Thuong.

Through this interesting photo hunting trip, Mr. Thuong realized the magic of nature, animals, plants as well as people in the highlands when adapting to the harsh climate, enduring through icy days. and to continue living when the sun is shining.

Visitors to the exhibition on March 25 will see the “Vietnam from above” by Pham Huy Trung (Ho Chi Minh City), including the foggy winter night of Dalat.

Mr. Trung shared: “I was born and raised in Hanoi, worked as a telecommunications engineer and came to photography very casually. After seeing pictures on the internet, I wondered how the authors could have. Thinking to do, I started with my first camera and backpacked out to explore the beautiful scenery of the country. I found that shooting at high angle always brings new things “.

The dry season downstream of the Ba River, picturesque Phu Yen is one of Trung’s works on display at the exhibition. The Ba River, the largest river in the Central region, is about 374 km long, originating from the Ngoc Ro and Kon Tum mountains and flows into the East Sea at the mouth of Da Dien, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen. In the dry season, the river dries up, especially downstream. People on the banks of the Ba river delta take advantage of the alluvial grounds in the middle of the river bed to grow grass to feed cows, grow vegetables and raise ducks along the river.

The immense sand slopes in Phan Rang become bold works of Pham Huy Trung. He also recorded the beauty of the red phoenix trees every summer in Hoi An until the pink roses bloom when spring comes along the lake in Bao Loc, Lam Dong.

Visitors will be surprised when looking at the pictures of conceptual black and white in square format , the theme “Couple – Couple” by architect and photographer Dong Lam Thanh Tung (HCMC) at the exhibition “Dalat Rendezvous” .

The exhibition photo by Dong Lam Thanh Tung is taken from Chapter II: Xa Ngai , in his first book “Long Road, Far Ngai , Don’t Fade Out” .

“I put the image of the person in a square frame, at a distance far enough away for the viewer to feel free to converse with that photo. I take pictures not only to record life’s moments, but to record my own emotions, ”Tung confided.
