Vinh Moc tunnels are located in Vinh Thach commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province. This is a military – civil work during the Vietnam War. That was the war of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam with the aim against the attacks of the Republic of Vietnam and the United States of America.

The tunnel is designed in a dome with a size of 0.9 meters wide and 1.75 meters high, a total length of more than 2000 meters, with many connecting branches, every 4 meters there will be a small family apartment about 0.8 wide meters, about 1.8 meters deep, can accommodate 4 people. Inside the cellar, there is also a small hall used as a meeting place, performance or film show that can accommodate up to 50 people.

Vinh Moc Tunnels have 13 different doors, of which, 6 doors are designed to connect to the hill, 7 doors to the sea and 3 vents. The tunnels are disguised discreetly, ensuring ventilation even in the rainy season, water is not deposited, all activities of the people are still normal, residents here rarely go out except in case of need. necessary or not dangerous.
