Ho Chi Minh City has the most hotels honored as “Vietnam’s top” by the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2023, followed by Hue and Hanoi.
The World Travel Awards (WTA) 2023 Asia-Pacific region on the evening of September 6 honored dozens of hotels as “Vietnam’s leading” accommodation facilities.
The first hotel mentioned is The Imperial Hotel in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. This accommodation facility was honored in the category “Vietnam’s Leading Beach Hotel” as it is located on a coastline more than 5 km long. Room price from 2.5 million VND. This is the first time the hotel has received an award from WTA.
Park Hyatt Saigon located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City was honored as “Vietnam’s Leading Hotel” and won this award for the first time. Room price from 6.9 million VND.
InterContinental Residences Saigon (HCMC) won the “Top Apartment Hotel (for long-term residents)” award. 2023 is the 7th consecutive year the accommodation facility has been honored in this category. Room prices start from more than 5.6 million VND.
The Reverie Saigon , located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, received the “Top Luxury Hotel” award for the first time. This property was honored in the categories “Top downtown hotel” and “Top luxury room hotel”. Room prices start from more than 6 million VND.
Azerai La Residence , a hotel located just a few steps from the banks of the Perfume River in the ancient capital of Hue, won the “Top boutique hotel” award. For two consecutive years, this famous accommodation facility won the above title. Room prices start from more than 4.1 million VND. The concept of resort/boutique hotel usually refers to accommodations with a small number of rooms, from 10 to less than 100 rooms, and have their own unique design style.
Melia Vinpearl Hue is the second representative of the ancient capital to appear on the list and is the first time honored by WTA as “Best City Hotel”. Room price from 1.5 million VND.
InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 , a 5-star hotel in the capital Hanoi, won the “Best Business Hotel” award. City center hotels have high rankings, serving business guests, conferences, seminars, business travelers… This is the third consecutive year the accommodation establishment has been honored in this category. SOJO Hotel Ga Hanoi in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi received the “Top Style Hotel” award. This is the first year SOJO appears on the WTA awards list. Room prices start from 1 million VND.
Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery in Sa Pa, Lao Cai province won the double award “Hotel with the leading impressive design in Vietnam and Asia”. Hotel de la Coupole has been awarded many times by WTA in categories such as luxury hotels and iconic hotels. Room price from 2.9 million VND.
Novotel Danang Premier Han River , a representative from Da Nang with panoramic views of the Han River, won the “Top River Hotel” award and this is the second consecutive year it has been named in this category. In 2020, Novotel won the “Vietnam’s Leading Business Hotel” award. Room price from 2.2 million VND.
WTA is the world’s leading award, considered the “Oscar of the tourism industry”, held annually since 1993. The event aims to honor, reward and recognize excellence in the field of tourism.
