The hiking trail can be divided into three stages. Stage 1, from the base of the mountain, passes a lead mine that is still being exploited, at an altitude of 1,200 meters, to the stream for lunch. Stage 2 from stream to shack for night is 2,400m. Stage 3 from the shack to the top of the mountain
Belonging to the Pu Luong massif of the famous Hoang Lien Son range, Ta Lead Nhu and Ta Xua are two mountains of Tram Tau district that are very popular with trekking people. If Ta Xua is more difficult, it takes 3 days 2 nights, Ta Lead Nhu is considered lighter, just 2 days 1 night is enough.

The path from the shack to the top is considered the most beautiful of the whole trip, because if you are lucky at the right time, you will see the hills covered in purple and pink color of a special flower: dahlia flowers, also. the name is dragon honey grass
The groups often stay in the shack, rest, cook and have dinner early to get up the next day to welcome the dawn and hunt for the sea of clouds. But there are also many people who go to the top in the afternoon to enjoy the moment watching the sunset gradually fall
From the shack at an altitude of 2,400m above sea level to the top of the mountain is about 2.5km long, and it will take about 2-3 hours depending on everyone’s fitness
The topography around Ta Lead Nhut is mainly barren hills, open space, can cover all surrounding hills and valleys.
Conquering Ta Chinh Nhu is not difficult, you just need to prepare mentally and well before the trip about two weeks, find good companions with adequate outdoor skills, favorable weather monitoring .. The best time to trek this mountain will last from September to March next year
At an altitude of 2,979m above sea level, Ta Lead Nhut peak is located in Xa Ho commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.

The total climbing distance is about 18km both back and forth. Basically, Ta Chinh Nhu climbing road has almost only a single trail, not many cross, and vertical turns, only going up or down, quite safe for many people, although some sections are quite high and steep.
