Billionaire Bill Gates came to Da Nang and Hoi An to travel

American billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend traveled to Da Nang and Hoi An yesterday morning on a private plane after attending the wedding celebration of billionaire Ambani’s son in India.

VnExpress sources said the American billionaire returned to Vietnam after 18 years and had a personal trip to Da Nang and Hoi An for about 5 days. He and his girlfriend arrived in Da Nang on a Gulfstream G650ER private plane on the morning of March 4 and stayed at a 5-star resort in Son Tra district. He also plans to go to Hoi An to travel.

In 2006, Bill Gates went to Vietnam for a one-day trip and met with representatives of the information technology world. During that trip, Bill Gates spent a day visiting Tu Son district, Bac Ninh and tried chewing betel and listening to mandarins.

Before his trip to Vietnam, on the evening of March 1, the Microsoft founder and his girlfriend Paula Kalupa along with the global elite attended a $120 million party to celebrate billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son getting married.

Bill Gates, born in 1955, is the co-founder of the world’s largest software corporation Microsoft, having held the positions of president, CEO and chief software architect. He is considered one of the pioneers of the computer revolution in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1987, he has been on the Forbes list of world billionaires and has held the title of richest person in the world since 1995. to 2017, excluding 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

As of March, Gates has a fortune of $149 billion and is the fifth richest in the world. After leaving his executive job at Microsoft in 2008, he continued to pursue business and philanthropic projects. He is the founder and chairman of several companies such as BEN, Cascade Investment, TerraPower, bgC3 and Breakthrough Energy. He is also donating large amounts of money to charities and scientific research programs through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – the world’s largest private charity.
