Da Nang Fine Arts Museum was officially established on July 29, 2014 with the purpose of representing the Central region and the Central Highlands to preserve, introduce and develop the values of artistic heritage in the region. Scale of Danang Fine Arts Museum
Da Nang Fine Arts Museum has a scale of 3 floors with a total display area of 1,185.5m2, located on a land area of 1,870m2. The outer wall is designed to be built in the style of square blocks, the campus is looked after with many flowers and plants, providing a comfortable and relaxing space for visitors during the visit.
The main hall is the most solemn place in the museum, often used to receive and provide the most basic information about the route for visitors to visit. Here is placed a delicate bronze mound relief with the size of 5m x 3m, this work is hand-carved by millennial artisans from Hanoi. 1st floor – space about modern art
The first floor of the museum has a total area of 390m2, this is a space to display short-term modern art works, fine art paintings for children. Most of the works on the first floor have themes about life, people, the land of Da Nang in particular and of Vietnam in general. When admiring these paintings, you will feel moved because the images are really close and simple about human life.

The 2nd floor area at Da Nang Fine Arts Museum has an area of 412.5m2 distributed into 5 themes on modern art, including valuable artistic works of oil painting, lacquer, graphics, sculpture, … and the topic of revolutionary struggle. The works here are very unique and creative, sometimes a bit confusing, causing curiosity of viewers. In addition, this is also the place where many young people check in the most because of the space full of art and sophistication.

3rd floor – traditional folk art space
The 3rd-floor area has an area of 383m2, distributed into 3 themes on ancient art. This is a place to collect and display many typical works, artifacts and many traditional fine art products crafted by sculptors and artisans in Da Nang and many other provinces in the region. In addition, it also introduces to the public the art of creating patterns on fabrics, ethnic costumes, jewelry; sculptural art of worshiping, communal houses, pagodas, worshiping mascots, worshiping statues; folk art statues of the tombs of the Truong Son ethnic groups – Central Highlands; Tuong masks and traditional applied arts such as carpentry, pottery, porcelain, fine art stone, …
