When participating in a civil electrical vocational training class organized by Hong Ha Intermediate School Delegation (Tran Quang Dieu Street, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City), students do not have to worry about tuition fees, after finishing school, the students also receive a certificate of industrial power granted by the school to conveniently apply for a job.
For nearly 2 weeks, teenagers aged 15 to 35 years old, especially those who are over 40, still regularly steal books to a civil electrical vocational training class organized by Hong Ha Intermediate School Delegation. Classes last from 18:15 to 20:30, regularly every Tuesday to Saturday.
Students of the class are teenagers who do not have a stable job, there are also those who have worked but want to learn a new career to support their families and earn extra income.
The class now has nearly 30 students. When you come to class, you will not have to worry about money, the school will train completely free, the course will last 3 months. After graduation, students will be granted a preliminary certificate of industrial electricity for convenience when applying for a job.
According to Mr. Nguyen Phu Duy Tien – Secretary of Hong Ha Intermediate School Delegation, by chance on the nights of drinking coffee with you, he sees teenagers who do not have stable jobs.
“At that time I confided in you to know why they did not go to school to find a job. Most of you expressed that you want to go to school but the family does not have the conditions, have to drop out of school to work. Because they have no career, no education, they have to do all kinds of jobs, income is not guaranteed” – Mr. Tien recalled.
Since then, Mr. Tien has been concerned about organizing a free vocational training course for young people who do not have a stable career. After many days of thinking, noting that his school is inherently vocational training, teachers and adequate facilities, Mr. Tien decided to organize a free vocational class. Thought to do, he asked for the opinion of the school board and agreed to open the class.
The class does not distinguish rich and poor, age …, who needs to register for normal school. There are many older students, some of them are cadres and employees of state agencies.
“I confided in a man who was working in Dong Thap but still went up here to study. He said that the school should study for free, after finishing school can know the electrical profession to repair himself in the family as well as help neighbors around” – Mr. Tien added.
According to Mr. Tien, about the first 3 weeks, students will be taught the basic knowledge of electricity. After that, you will learn to practice.
After finishing school, you will be granted a preliminary certificate of industrial electricity so it is easy to apply for a job at electricity companies or businesses that need basic electrical repair staff.
“When I was not opening, I was most afraid that the class was open without people learning, so I asked the youth union members to share, and then everywhere I went I introduced the class. I’m glad that the class is of interest to many of you, to register for school”- Mr. Tien added.
After nearly 2 weeks of attending a free civil electrical vocational training class at Hong Ha Intermediate School, Mr. Nguyen Chi Nhan (47 years old, currently a water supply and sewerage worker in Can Tho City) has grasped the name and structure of the electricity system.
“Through the introduction I signed up for this class, the class was fun, the teacher was enthusiastic, the curriculum was easy to understand. After finishing school, I will be granted a degree so I hope that life will be more stable” – Mr. Nhan said.
