THUA THIEN – HUE HUE culture and people have been clearly expressed through the prism of the late photography artist Nong Thanh Toan

On the afternoon of December 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an exhibition “Culture and people of Hue” through the lens of the late photographer Nong Thanh Toan. 45 representative works in thousands of photos he took are displayed at Diem Phung Thi Museum on the Perfume River. The exhibition is to pay tribute to his contributions in promoting Hue’s image.

The late photographer Nong Thanh Toan was born in 1988 in Lao Cai, but chose Hue as the place to live. He died after a stroke while composing more than three months ago. He is a young photographic artist who won the first prize in an international photo contest with the theme “Red” by Agora with his work “Exposing incense” .
