Many young people flocked to the Saigon Riverfront Park during the 2024 New Year holidays to check in with the sunflower fields.
In the last days of the year, the sunflower garden at Saigon Riverfront Park bloomed, and young people flocked to check in and have fun during the 2024 New Year holiday.
Some young people took the opportunity to go to the Saigon River park very early to hunt for the best view to take photos.
On the first day of the holiday, the weather was quite hot, many young people still stood in the sun to take satisfactory photos.
“I came here a few days ago but the flowers haven’t bloomed yet, so you guys promised to come back today. The sunflower garden here reminds me of Da Lat,” Le Thi Hong Nhung (white coat, 2nd year student Saigon University) shares.
Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Nhu (living in District 12) learned about the Saigon Riverbank flower garden through social networks. Taking advantage of the New Year holiday, she and her friends went to have fun at Saigon Riverfront Park.
“Knowing that the sunflower garden along the Saigon River was blooming, I took the opportunity to check in. Because the weather was a bit hot, I couldn’t take many photos,” Ms. Nhu said.
Many couples also take advantage of it to preserve moments together.
The brilliant sunflower field, stretching in the sunshine, is always a place that attracts many visitors. According to many young people, the best time to take excellent photos is early morning or sunset.
Saigon Riverfront Park was just inaugurated on December 23 with an area of about 20 hectares, built with a total investment cost of about 90 billion VND from socialized sources. In recent days, this place has been continuously sought after by young people on social networking platforms.
Currently, 15,000 sunflowers are blooming just in time for the New Year, attracting people and tourists to visit, entertain, and take photos. Phase 2 is expected to have about 20,000 trees blooming on Lunar New Year 2024.
At night, the Saigon River park is even more crowded with people coming to check-in and have fun.
Taking advantage of the day off, young people stopped by the sunflower field to check in.
From the sunflower garden, people can check-in with a “million dollar view” when the whole city is gorgeous, sparkling with flower lights as if in sight.
Saigon Riverfront Park will be the venue for an event to welcome the new year on the evening of December 31 with music, fireworks and special art performances.
